Pairing a Phone via Bluetooth

Assuming you have a Bluetooth-enabled X-Type, either with the later Bluetooth Phone module or the BTUM (Bluetooth upgrade module) then pairing should be quite straight forward.

Jaguar did not fit Bluetooth to X-Type's prior to MY2006, 55-plate in the UK, when new. However if it wasn't upgraded the good news is that it is an achievable retrofit. Retrofit Bluetooth.

Pairing:

Put the system into ‘discovery mode’ by selecting ##3#*# [send] on the radio or touchscreen.

On phone, select ‘Jaguar’ and enter the pin 1313
